Morgan Faulkner is one of the best known surfers in Texas. He grew up in Port Aransas, and first got on a surfboard at about age 8. Now, at the ripe old age of 22, he holds 2 national surfing titles, 22 Texas state titles and numerous other titles from both the West Coast and East Coast. As an amateur, he was a member of the United States Surf Team, representing the US in surfing around the world, and is now competing as a professional in the ASP World Qualifying Series. He is a master of both the short board and the long board, as well as a certified life guard.
Morgan now resides in Hawaii during the school year, where he attends Hawaii Pacific University and catches some of the world's best waves on a daily basis. He returns to his home in Texas every summer in order to share with his fellow Texans his love of surfing through his Quiksilver/Roxy surf camps.
Morgan's long-time sponsor, Quiksilver, is dedicated to introducing Texans to the great sport of surfing and has called upon him to create one of its premier surf camps in Texas. It is one of a select group of camps throughout the entire United States to receive the high honor of bearing the Quiksilver and Roxy names.
Morgan signs a Quiksilver poster for every camper and is looking forward to sharing the stoke with as many new surfers as possible.
